Andalucia is enchanting

A few photos of some of the incredible places we visit during the tours in Andalucia

The Jusef Palace

The Jusef Palace

At the front of the courtyard are the remains of what once was the main room of the palace: a tower overlooking a portico in the open patio. The remains of the walls now form a terrace that provides one of the loveliest views to be had in the Alhambra.

The Comares Palace

The Comares Palace

The Comares Palace is one of the most photographed and iconic images of the Alhambra and it’s easy to see why.

The Patio of the Lions

The Patio of the Lions

The Patio of the Lions (Patio de Los Leones) is probably the most famous place in the Alhambra complex. The twelve lions throw jets of water and which are part of the fountain in the middle of the patio. A large dodecagon-shaped basin rests on top of the twelve lions that are around it. This white marble fountain is one of the most important examples of Muslim sculpture.

The Alpujarras

The view from Pampaneira looking towards the villages of Bubion and Capeleira with the Sierra Nevada mountains is breathtaking on a clear day

The Roman Bridge, Cordoba

The Roman Bridge, Cordoba

Cordoba is enchanting, with its mysterious narrow streets leading you to glimpses of secret patio gardens. An evening stroll across the Roman bridge to look back at this beautiful city is a must.

The Mesquita

The Mesquita

Wonderfully decorated columns that appear to continue for eternity are a stand-out feature of this amazing world heritage site.

Cordoba Equestrian Art

We were very privileged to see the Andalucian horses practising for their evening performance. This is something you don’t want to miss! and is inclusive in our tours.

Wow! what a sight at sunset - and no photoshop.
